How to modify behaviour permissions

To modify behaviour permissions start by going to the 'School settings' tab from the settings cog in the top right hand corner of Class Charts. Then go to the 'Teachers' tab on the left hand side of the page, here you can control what teachers can see or do within Class Charts. We will go through one-by-one what each of the settings does.

1) Who can choose and customise behaviours - Teachers / School Admin (RECOMMENDED)
-     This option sets who can choose and customise behaviours. Selecting teachers allows teachers and school admins to customise behaviours while choosing school admin doesn't allow teachers to choose or customise behaviours and this is the option we recommend setting.

2) Allow negative behaviours - Enabled / Enabled, except rewards store / Disabled

-     Enabled > Allows teachers to award negative behaviours and deducts spendable points equivalent to how many negative points are awarded.

-     Enabled, except rewards store > Allows teachers to award negative behaviours but it does not deduct anything from spendable points.

-     Disabled > Teachers can only award positive behaviour points and incidents.

3) Behaviour outcomes - Enabled / Enabled (synchronise with SIMS) / Disabled

-     Enabled > You can attach an outcome to a behaviour incident from our stock list of outcomes.

-     Enabled (synchronise with SIMS) > You can attach an outcome to a behaviour incident with a list of outcomes synchronised with the outcomes you have set in SIMS (only possible if your school is SIMS integrated).

-     Disabled > Can not attach an outcome to a behaviour incident

4) Behaviour referrals - Enabled / Disabled
-     Enabled- this allows teachers to refer behaviour incidents to other members of staff. (RECOMMENDED)

-     Disabled- this doesn't allow teachers to refer behaviour incidents to other members of staff.

5) These next three boxes allow behaviours recorded in SIMS to show in Class Charts. You have to enter a date in the boxes and then Class Charts will begin to display data from SIMS from that point onward.

Include behaviour from SIMS in Intelligence Events, which is recorded after: (This option counts behaviour points toward triggering intelligence events)

Include behaviour from SIMS in displayed behaviour points, which is recorded after: (This option counts behaviour points toward the displayed bubbles and in the pupils list)

Include behaviour from SIMS in spendable behaviour points, which is recorded after: (This option counts behaviour points toward each pupils spendable points for reward store)
