Can there be a grade book option so that I can keep grades?500 votes
Would be great if we could design and upload our own icons to accompany the custom fieldsets we use. Would enable schools to tailor the system to fit their own needs.
Would be lovely to have a larger version of the pupil photo open in a lightbox or similar when clicked. Just too small to easily see sometimes.10 votes
I really like the new Q&A tool - an excellent idea. Some of the best teachers I've observed record how students respond to question they ask. It would be so much better if you can (optionally) specify the type of question you're asking, e.g. using bloom's taxonomy. As well as evidence to help you assess pupil's level and progress, it would also be interesting to report on how many of each type of questions you're asking a class. Thanks for listening!7 votes
Nice idea & thanks for putting it our way. I can see sense in this and will see how it can be put into action.
I think it would be great if users could upload their own picture for their class (when you create a class you can choose from the icons you provide, but I think it would be fantastic if you could upload your own.9 votes
I like your suggestions! I have forwarded this one to our development team who will hopefully look into this.
Thanks for your suggestion :)
Good point and will look at it. For now – if you have a pdf print driver installed could you print to that? Sorry for the inconvenience!
Rather than sending individual emails about students who have met an Intelligence Event, I would like you to send one email per class with a list of students who met the requirements for the Intelligence Event. When I have a positive event that most students will eventually meet, I will be opening over a 1,000 emails.0 votes
Thank you for the suggestion,
We will have a chat about this and see if it could be possible in the future,
Any way we can see performance on a day-by-day basis, too? I have a sneaky feeling that there are more behaviour problems on certain Mondays and would like to see this.4 votes
If you click on “Activity” there is a date function to the right hand side – is that what you mean?
It would be great if you could group rewards based on a day/teacher/event. for example, if a teacher wanted to add a number of rewards to the store under their name, a student could go to the store select the teacher and then all of the rewards for that teacher could be under one "file". This would definitely help organize the store as well if multiple teachers are adding rewards or multiple events are going on.1 vote
We are currently reviewing this request,
I love the behaviour icons you have on your website, but I think it would be great if either
a) users could upload their own behaviour icons
b) there could be a place for people to upload icons they made and the Class Charts community could have the option of downloading the icons made by other users.
Please let me know if these ideas are possible!

I have to turn in a hard copy of my attendance records at the end of the school year. I would consider using this if I could export group attendance records for easy printing.21 votes
Forwarded to development team :)
I would encourage you to add function of assigning points to attendance. One amount for being on time, one amount for being tardy and another for being absent, customizable by the teacher. Another app I use (ideceo) does this automatically during the attendance process and it allows me to reward students for being on time to class and in class, it's a great incentive that works remarkably well!3 votes
Be able to modify a previous day's points according to new information. e.g add more House Points.9 votes
It would be nice to have a different sound between answering questions (right/wrong) and earning point for behavior (right or wrong).1 vote
Thanks for the suggestion and this is something we will look at in the future.
When looking at a specific pupil and you print off all their behaviour incidents, we feel it could be layed out better. Maybe you could give the option to how it is layed out when it is printed?
We would like it so it is literally straight down the page.
Rather than going across the page. We don't like this layout.1 vote
We are currently reviewing our pupil report printouts so this is something we will take into consideration,
I think your product is great. I was just wondering would it be possible to be able to create a class checklist feature to be used in the collection of monies for school trips, books etc6 votes
I was a teacher and know how useful checklists can be – will see what the rest of the team think.
Being able to track who has left the room would be helpful. It would be a great way to log who is out of the classroom regularly.7 votes
Would like to be able to monitor different behaviors with different classes, rather than all classes using the same behaviors.9 votes
Suggestion sent to development team :)
Thanks for the suggestion!
My classroom has desks that, due to class sizes, must fit three students. I also have several desks that are angled, not square to the others. It would be excellent to see these as possible to model in the classroom designer, as without a three person desk I cannot use the automatic seating planner! Otherwise, I love this system!13 votes
the “desks” are actually intended as placeholders but we will see what we can do!
when printing reports, it would be nice to be able to add a box for leaving general comments for parents
when the software generates a report, it would be great if you could have a box to leave comments in, so you could give further comments to parents of the week etc...5 votes
I have forwarded this to our development team who will look further into this.
Thanks for your suggestion!
